“We are proud of the Community Foundation’s service to our community, and since 1999, we have awarded over $2.5 million to Fayette County non-profits. These awards represent a variety of program interests including education, arts and culture, health and human services, economic development and tourism,” said Foutz.
The Community Foundation was founded in 1999 and is widely recognized as an important regional resource for donors and nonprofit organizations. The CFFC holds the distinction of accreditation from the Council on Foundations and was named the Outstanding Foundation in Western Pennsylvania in 2009.
