The Community Foundation of Fayette County held a Grant Award and Fund Distribution Event on May 11 at the Connellsville Canteen, 131 West Crawford Ave, Connellsville, PA. At this event, checks were presented for CFFC Spring Cycle Grant Awards, Chevron Community Fund Spring Cycle Grant Awards, and the CFFC’s annual Endowment or Donor Designated Fund distributions. Over a quarter million dollars was handed out at this event.
Organizations receiving CFFC Spring Cycle Grant Awards include: Bullskin Twp VFD; Christian Layman Corps; City Mission-Living Stones; East End United Community Center; Greater Uniontown Heritage Consortium -State Theatre; Uniontown Public Library, and Wesley Health Center.
Chevron Community Fund made awards to City Mission-Living Stones; Connellsville Community Ministries; Fayette County Community Action Agency; Greater Uniontown Heritage Consortium-State Theatre; Highlands Hospital Autism School; Uniontown Public Library; Washington Health System-Greene County, and Wesley Health Center.
